Yap! Reminders Privacy Policy
Effective: July 11, 2026
Yap! is a reminder app for iPhone that works directly with Apple’s built-in Reminders
and Calendar.
The short version
Yap! collects nothing. No analytics, no tracking, no accounts, no servers.
Details
- Your reminders and calendar events never leave your device. Yap! reads them from
Apple’s Reminders and Calendar apps (with your permission) solely to show and schedule
notifications on your device, and writes back only the changes you make (like marking
a reminder done).
- No data is transmitted to us or anyone else. Yap! has no server component.
- No third-party SDKs, no advertising, no analytics. The app contains only Apple’s
own frameworks.
- App settings (like your reminder interval) are stored locally on your device and
in your device backups, managed entirely by iOS.
- Permissions (Reminders, Calendar, Notifications) can be revoked anytime in iOS
Settings; the app explains before every request why it asks.

Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new
effective date. Since the app collects nothing, meaningful changes are unlikely.
